I was out scouting around for metal detecting sites near the railroad tracks and saw him. I pulled a few tufts of grass from outside the fence-line, and he came right up and ate from my hand. He's very tame and friendly!

Cute. He looks like he knows something we don't. Lol

He's got one ear pointing to the front, and one to the rear. Guess he doesn't want anything sneaking up on him...

Definitely looks friendly. Might be a good prospecting partner.

It's probably thinking that you forgot the carrot that you should have brought and shared with him/her.

Ask him if you detect the area. :occasion14:

Show him a gold pan. If he starts getting excited, have some panniers fitted! TTC

Long as you are on one side of the fence and it's on the other. Darn thing we had here, couldn't trust him. Couldn't walk across the pasture without him wanting to kill a dog, literally chased my 2 dogs.

We pass a pasture every day that houses four burros who are cutest moochs we have ever had the pleasure of passing. Often we stop and scratch their ears rub their heads. Mr Riney says that if we give them anything just one or two carrots. That was a mistake, as if we stop without a treat, you should hear them protest. Sometimes we act as if we don't have a treat just to hear them bray. I know, I Know, that's mean.
