Like I said..that's just the generic general term...there are flattened varieties that were pushed like a plane...hence..the term I used "elongated plane variety"

yes, this was found smack dab in the middle of the culture area. It has the diamond shaped cross section, 4 flat sides and a rounded tip all in keeping with the design. It is also the right size and material. I have been searching for a roller pestle with a similar diamond cross section profile but can't find one yet.

I found something along the lines of the diamond shaped cross section earlier this summer but when I posted no one replied so I assumed it was a geofact even though it appears too geometrical to be natural. I thought it might be a file or abrader of sorts. I'll post a couple of pics and you all tell me.
