Did a little horse trading, sent some treasure to get some treasure.

Love that Pirate stuff, so I traded for some. Got a good deal to.

Thanks to my trade partner, you know who you are.

One coin is a 1757 1/2 gold escudos.

The other is a Phillip III 8 Marevidies 1579-1629 I think.

Sweet man.
Thanks dude.

What a grate gold coin to have. But how would one authenticate something like that? And if you don't mind, what did you trade for them?

I know they came from the sea. A very reputable diver traded me for a piece of gold and diamond jewelry.

I'm sure these two coins are just a drop in the bucket for him.

To me it's a piece of pirate history.

What a bueaty!!

Well done Kas,
You got some things you treasure.

I know the feeling. I finally have an NZ coin which I have desired, since I first learned about them forty years ago.

The coin on the left in your pic looks to be nice and gold, is the other copper, or rose gold?

Cheers, Mike

Kas, you made a great trade there I'd say. Glad you were able to get something you really wanted in trade.

A gold, 1/2 escudos. The other coin is a copper 8 marevedies. There is a rainbow of color in it. Most likely from the impurities in the copper refinement?

Cheers Kas, thanks for the info. Mike
