I found a makeup compact case really deep at an old school. I had to soak it for awhile to get all the corrosion off. It was gold guilded at one time, has nice ornate markings on top, and has a mirror in the lid. It has the name "Fiancee Woodworth" in two lines in the lid under the mirror. I will post a pic when I get the camera out. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these?

you have to check out this late 1800s hair curing iron holder.. At least that is what I though it was.
