What is the round thing that looks like a token above the black car? Nice finds by the way.

If I had ever found 8 bucks' worth of clad quarters in the parks, etc., I'd spend more time in them and not on the old sites. As it is, the modern money I find usu. amounts to less than 50 cents per hunt.

Side Note: I spent my accumulated (about 12 bucks) discolored clad quarters over the past few weeks. Newspaper machines like 'em just fine.

That's a nice haul!

Mighty fine detectin' goin on there :)

Try soccer and football fields at schools, and also sports parks..some of them can easily yield $10 or more in quarters in only a couple of hours if you find the right ones.

Piggman1 and Evolution,
The "token" above the black car appears to me to be an AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) years of sobriety medal. They are given to AA members rocognizing annualy the number of years of sobriety of that particular member.
