1rst one is an etched spirits bottle with a ship on both sides, glass pontil and light lime green, circa 1800-----2nd is a 1860 plantation x drakes 6 log bitters ---3rd is another drakes but with 4 logs---4th is a masonic / eagle historical flask [keene is spelled kccnc], damaged mouth but still really cool bottle--------enjoy----h h

I love them all. The etched glass is a superb piece. May i ask how did you acquire it? I dream of finding a drake's intact.

Thanks bass, I bought all 4 at antique auctions over the years. The etched ship bottle was a great find, one of a kind. Putting a value on it would be hard. And yes it would be awesome to dig a drakes or historical flask one of these days---happy hunting

What source are you using to date the etched bottle to 1800, can you post a pic of the base?

The ship bottle i took to jim hagenbach [pretty sure i spelled his name wrong], jim is/was the publisher of antique bottles and glass magizine near allentown pa. He sold some of my collection for me about 20 yrs ago. wish i still had my success to the railroad flask, that was a beauty.

First, you put me to shame with your fantastic man cave (of which I can not have one unless I dig a big hole in the back yard!) Now, you shame me even further by displaying, no boasting of you Drake's bitters and the Masonic historical flask (I want one of those real bad) Oh well, I guess I'll have to ask my wife if I can buy one.

What exactly did Jim Hagenbuch opine about the pedestal bottle? That bottle doesn't fit any style with which I am familiar. I don't think Van den Bossche figures anything like it. Just curious.

Hi harry, that was about 20 yrs ago when jim h looked at this, his opinion was circa 1790-1800 probly english made. thanks for the interest---tom
