LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) -- A central Pennsylvania man said he robbed a bank in 2007 to go to jail and get away from his overbearing wife. At a sentencing hearing Monday, 39-year-old Anthony Miller said he robbed a bank in Ephrata because he wanted to leave his then-wife but she had threatened to commit suicide if he did.

I Would have sentenced him to Live with Her ;D

The poor guy has been through enough. Give him a break and lock him up for a few years.

Anyone think that the Judge sentanced the wrong person...

That story is almost as bad as the one where a man points a gun at his own head and his wife asked what he was doing...he said shutup nbitch I'm going to kill myself and you're next.

Stefen, I worked with a cop that was an airhead. We had a guy surrounded that was holding a gun to his head and threatening to shoot himself. The airhead cop pulled up, whipped out his service revolver and yelled, "Drop that gun or I'll blow your brains out!" The guy got so rattled he dropped the gun! Good psychology? The next winter he was instructed to check the ice on the citiy lake to see if it was safe to skate on. He drove out on it with his patrol car. It wasn't thick enough! Last we heard he was a police lieutenant in Los Angeles! Not really, just thought I'd throw that in! M :laughing7: nty
