MANGLED SILVER COLONIAL SPOON UPDATE

[HEAVYMETALNUT]

I dug this unhallmarked silver spoon at a cellar hole site last month.
the bowl was badly mangled and sent it to a silversmith to have him fix it for $15.
I think he should have or could have done a better job on the back of the bowl but, considering what it looked like before I guess I should be happy

Well worth the money you spent. That spoon displays nicely now

Now . . . that's a fantastic looking spoon Dave!
Any idea on who might have been the maker?

Congrats,
Dave

When do you figure this spoon dates to Dave?
I'm thinking early 19th century?

Looks good to me...I like the two spoons displayed together. Nice work for $15 bucks...I've spent that on two beers in the city with no nice spoon to show for it.

Wow! That is amazing! I think he did a great job myself, and you can't beat that piece. Money well spent.
Where did you find him, is he a local guy?
I'd loved to have his contact info if you don't mind PMing it to me.
Thanks for the updated post and pictures.
