Hey there, just spending the snow day looking at some old finds ive been wondering about

1) the nail ( found on farm SE PA, .. is there any telling how old or modern it is) era use ect?

2) can anyone confirm if the marks on the stone photographed are handmade or just a modern machine scraps from a rototiller.

Thanks guys

Just my opinion, but the marks on the stone look to well aligned to be random dings from a rototiller! And I agree with Tony in SC that the iron piece looks like a bolt head! Thanks for posting.

If it were clay it reminds me of a broken kiln spacer for pottery stacking.
