It's 1/2" with a slightly pitted surface. Any info about it will be greatly appreciated.

hard to be positive without a clearer pic but i think you have a peltier pee wee rainbow.....the colors are what are makin me say peltier....

It's round as is what the pic shows. I know this is a stupid question but what is a pointil?

its a rough spot on the end of the marble where a punty was attatched...i have no clue what that marble is now...another pic of the other side of the marble might help....

That reddish mark looks like foreign material. Are you sure it's part of the marble and not glue or something? Kinda looks like old mucilage stuck to a clay marble.

The reddish material goes throughout the marble on both sides.
