I found the Canadian large cent probaby 20 minutes into the hunt and it really got me going even though I couldn't see a date but I could tell it was a Queen Victoria cent. I think the thing with the wolf head on it is a pin or something and I managed to eyeball a marble, a few newer cents and some other things. I started out cleaning the large cent with peroxide but it stopped cleaning and then I went to olive oil for a couple hours and the olive oil seems to be cutting the crud on this coin so I think it will look decent after a longer oil soak and scrubbing.
