Picked this up at a flea market today for $25.00 I thought it was in great shape for being 68 years old ( I think ) correct me if I’m wrong. I thought I would make a nice display case for it. 18CA2271-0F04-479D-A1EC-44AB1DB545D6.webp1EE36C4D-AA35-4975-BDD1-656740531A44.webp

Thanks dansalata I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it. I looked for the size and it was stamped on the inside of the arm sleeve. It said L 1949-1950. I thought if it’s in this good shape after 68 years than I’m going to put it in a display case and hang it on the wall in my home office.

Very nice find, in great shape too! :occasion14:

Well cared for,, You may consider a Cedar backing and frame.

Also might try taking to a cleaners to professionally be cleaned before putting away in a case. Looks really great. HH

So I guess we can all agree. The US Marines have the BEST looking uniforms.

It’s already clean and the buttons are all there and like brand new. I love this jacket and yes I plan on having it cleaned first and maybe even have it professionally mounted and framed. Thanks ddn.
