I spent the last two days between the kids baseball practices hitting the local Frederick, Maryland hot spots. I ended up with some great finds. The buckle was a nice find but almost bent in half. The large cent had 1837 (I think) on it, but very hard to read and I may have over cleaned it.

I need some help with Id'ing the brass stamped plate thing. Has anyone seen one of these before? I thought originally that this may be a rifle plate or something off of a saddle. Does anybody know?

There were some other 3 ringers that I didn't photograph. The spoon was awesome. I believe that it was the kind that belonged to a pocket knife along with a fork due to the small hole in base.

Thanks for looking and HH!

Nice plate! Been a few dug on here the past couple of weeks. Congrats! :icon_thumright:

Fredrick is a great town, I used to hang around there some years ago. Nice CW finds but I don't think that key is CW era.
