I filled my lincoln trunk, back seat and front seat with items from one yard/estate sale. I dug through a house and garage for 2.5 hours. After it was all said and done, pulled two fans (one cost me $20 of my haul) 6 boxes of 70's 80's playboys, oui, and other adult magazines. 2 boxes of betamax tapes. First all porn, second all normalish movies, mostly horror. First one I looked up was this one: Dawn of The Dead 1977 Betamax George Romero Thorn EMI Video Big Box Beta | eBay
They seem very rare so I might be the only seller around.
A small rca victor transistor radio, looks like they go for about $30.
Bought my first two paintings, one by Reiner Snapper, few on ebay none sold but asking good money and B. (bernard?) Duggan, just a few sold all under $100.
Then there is another box of miscellaneous stuffs. Did get a nice Jadeite bowl, bunch of TWA airline stuffs. Oh and I did buy a small lot of postcards. Some from Fred Harvey. Looks like some go for big money, but I don't know what I have yet.
I get the feeling I will be listing and selling all this stuff for months.
I will try and get some pics up later, just so much stuff.
Oh and some guy tried to hustle me into helping him lift a stove he bought into his truck. I pulled my car into the driveway and was loading my car, those boxes of playboys were heavy. Anyway he just starts randomly picking up my boxes to "help" me load my car, all of 3 feet away from the boxes. After he "helped" me he says, hey I helped you can you help me lift this stove into my truck? Uhh no, sorry got to go.
