Can't give you anything specific but if you will Google up Matagorda Island, you will find lots of information and sites leading to shipwrecks there.

I was stationed there on an Air Force bombing range back in the 1950's. Too young and dumb to know or care about the history of the place. It's now a State bird refuge.
