Matisse - Rumanian Blouse

I recently found this watercolor framed Matisse Rumanian Blouse. When I took it out of the frame there was this other scene painted on the back. Is this a forgery? Is it Real? The signature is on the bottom left.

I suggest you take it to a reputable art gallery to have them check it out.

It would be worth some serious coin if authentic.

This series of paintings were made during the darkest part of ww2 so it was not uncommon to use both sides of a piece of paper. The colors seem too bright for a 75 year old watercolor plus anyone who owned a real Matisse would not have had it in that pos frame. Look at it closely with a loupe and see if there is a dot pattern, also look at the way the layers of water color are applied over each other. There should be puckers in the paper from water. Is the paper watercolor paper or printing paper? Good luck
