People don't seem too worried about it. Shops are open and people
riding their scooters round like normal.

Can you imagine what's swimming around in that water?

Yea I was watching the One guy on his scooter & thought , odd they don't get too wet to run,
Then the one guy may have stalled out. He was using his legs to move his Scooter along.
Looked like he almost got it stated But then it stalled again. He needed higher Ground.
Guy on the Scooter with the Yellow Umbrella at the 4:30 Point.

Life goes on and they accept it as it is-can't say the same for here sometimes.
Experienced it in the travels a few times, learnt from the locals is to walk on the streets and not the sidewalks as one might fall in a open manhole!

Yea Most other Countries seem to use the Streets to Walk
in Payatas they swim in the streets, seen some get their showers during heavy rains too.
may be necessary

they appear to all spend their time outside rain or shine

We were at some National holiday in Fiji.
Poured rain all day, no problem with that it seemed.
Football game field wet, and by the end of the game 1/3 the way up the calves of the players.
Bloody great viewing when the tackle happened, big splash.
Ubud Bali, was another rain event
The Mrs was nearing up between the knee and upper calf.
One just accepts the events, and :laughing7: it off.
