Maybe a preform...what do you guys think?

Found a little shard and then the other thing. Does it look like a preform? or maybe they were working on it and the base broke and they tossed it? What do you guys think?

The first pic I thought maybe but the 2nd pic I said natural. Looks to be a natural fracture from the tumble in the creek. Its a true dangit. Pottery piece though.

The first pic is what I saw in the water and I thought it was just the top part of a rock partly under sand (that happens a lot lol) and I thought I had a Durst stemmed by the shape until I flipped it over and then kinda stumped. Creek spirit playing tricks on me!

Yeah, rocks, leaves, you name it. They all fool me at times. I do see a bit of a design on the pottery though. Keep on keeping on, girl.
