I went out today and I made a great find, maybe. I was hunting a field where people have hunted for years and found this. I just hope once I get it checked out its the real deal! If anyone can help confirm or deny the authenticity I wouldn't complain :). It's just it's almost to good to be true in its condition.

Nice find stillrollin300! I searched the net and found a bunch of old Belt B. but they had a different eagle configuration. Eitherway - nice find.
 
post it on the "what is it" forum to find out quickly. Looks like a us military buckle but im worried about the eagle. looks to be early 1900's.
 
Not sure looks post Indian wars era. But the one I've seen is a tad different
 
Try checking out www.relicman.com and send him a pic to see if he can help you. I would say pre-civil war militia with the square plate and the hooks in back. I've never seen a patina like that on a dug plate, looks non-dug to me.
