Medallion found inside antique clock

Hello. I found a medallion inside an old antique clock which was in an old log cabin in the upper peninsula of Michigan right on Superior Lake. I cant seem to find any information on it and have spent several hours researching and found nothing. Hopefully someone can help me identify this piece. Its quite dense and is not magnetic. It appears to be grape leafs wrapped around some sort of lattice. Thank you so very much for your help!
