Mel fisher expedition

Good morning! Has anyone tried joining one of Mel fishers expeditions ? (Diving the wrecks/ sifting for emeralds etc....)

It would indeed be amazing. I got some information, apparently to be a part of the project you need too invest and I'd need to find my way up to the US..unfortunately that's out of it for me atm but It seems like anyone can apply so good luck too you all!

Yes, and the ROI is not good, plus there are add on expenses to go diving. Hard to believe that with the new technology that the rest of the Atocha is still missing. I paid in 2004 and dived between 2 hurricanes. Charlie was one.

I'm "underwater" myself, having passed up a chance to dive with him and join his team as a tech. Would have been a riot, sunburn and all.

I don't regret being an investor though, got a a few nice pesos and green stones.
