Memorial Day Dredge Mat

While others were relaxing... I spent most of the day making this beast.
Not something I wanted to do alone, but everyone was off. Just flipping it over was a job.
I always say that 18" should be the max width for these.... but I don't listen to myself.
This is for our 5" dredge we are running.
24" wide and 108" long.
I'll post some pics of the gold later this week.

That is one beast of a mat! Just after it flares out to 24", it looks like you have a strip of RiverHog with the large rifle cut off. I understand why the large rifle is cut because of the decline in velocity as the sluice widens, I'm just wondering why you would have that in there instead of a strip of Scrubber?

Looks good and I am looking forward to hearing what kind of results you get with it.

Howdy IH...
Full RiverHog from the top, then one cut down about 50%.
(Dampener mat makes me cut it down there.)
Then goes to scrubber for 3)
Then Scrubber and bedrock alt.
Finish out with Razorback.
Have been watching the unit run for several days and I think this will work the best on this unit.
Nothing on top of this one. Had some 1/4" perf at the top originally.
Catching a bunch of gold, a lot in the 50 - 150 range.
Hopefully we're about to hit some good bedrock and find the big stuff.
