Hey bud great finds. I've decided I love any coin that's not clad and not a wheat....PERIOD! I even live the indian heads that poss me off when I dig em on colonial sites lol. I even love the 49 Washington quarter that I dug at the site I dig a 1787 mass cent lol. I even love those stupid old 1782 2 Reales and that damn broken 1739 pistareen. I just love em all....just not equally of course

Dug only the 3 & 4th IH cents last Sat, In the last 5+ years & About Doo-Dooed -Myself .LOL

I am to the point that I wish my Wheats to be pre, 1940 tho.

Ha I do love the indian heads and they seem to hold up well. Great job on your recent ih finds. Did I miss your post? If so I apologize. But yes I am beyond spoiled up here where there's several sites that date back to the 1600s. We can only hunt the ground we've got my friend. And trust me a couple hundred extra years of settlement makes a HUGE difference
 

Nice finds. Bird bands will usually have a number on it registered to that particular bird. If its put on by the Dept. of Conservation, it will also have a phone number to call to give them the info, so they can track it.

Some pigeon bands are not numbered, but it doesn't really matter, i can't change the title. It's a ear cuff.
