Merc, V and Buffs, 1909 Wheatie, Rings and a sword

Hit a spot I've hammered for the past year yesterday. I was wanting to do another spot, but its been so dry around here the last few weeks that as soon as I cut a plug I seen dry powdery dirt under it. Found the 1936 Buff there. Alright, that will wait for another day. The nearby spot I hit is a hillside with no grass. Junky area, but I've pulled about 20 silvers plus Indians, wheats, V-nickles, Buffs, a two center and a half dime out of there. There is rarely a clear signal here anymore, you dig every non-iron signal (and some of them) and see what turns up. Pulled a 1920 and a no date Buff, a 1926 Merc that rand up in the mid 70's even though it was only about 4 inches down, and didn't appear to be anything else interfering with the signal. The little sword was a neat find, a gold plated button, couple of junk rings, and the little stag head thingie. Moved to a adjacent area and pulled out the wheats, including a 1909. My last good find before it started pouring rain was a 1897 V Nickle. Went and ate and came back after the rain. Went to a different area but all I found was junk. Was out for about 9 hours and probably hunted better than 7 of them. I've probably dug about 5 gallons of trash out of here in the last year and it keeps the site giving a little more each time. Pictures didn't turn out great, but nothing spectacular anyway.
