The post says it all. There are some heavy hitter posts on the board today that are banner worthy so I'll make this short and sweet.

1920 and 1927 Mercs
1954 Roosevelt
1942 war nickel
1895 Indian head penny
Also got a 191* buffalo nickel but I won't even try to take a pic. She's rough!

Still looking for the old stuff. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1430869903.403434.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1430869925.926023.webp

Happy hunting

4 silver day may not be banner, but it's a great day anyway! Good hunt!

Congrat's Scrappy, you find many keepers on every started thread. You have some of the best producing sites. My hat's off to you. :notworthy:

George uses that balding head of his though...

I picked his brain a bunch about securing "impossible" historic sites and he taught me a lot. The site I'm on now, although it's not coughing any real olds stuff up(yet), dates to 1675 and is protected by the Feds and state.

...good for George. I'm wicked jealous....but good for George. Lol

Dont give up yet..
Like i said to you, it takes a while to clean out the new stuff before getting to the old..
It will definitely happen..

Nice array. Even rough Buffs are good. My rough looking ones outnumber the decent ones I've dug by far. A Buff is a Buff

Yep, I'd call those some good finds!

Very well done Scrappy!

4 silvers and an IH would quality as old enough for me, Sweet hunt!!
