Mesh alternate for arm strap?

Since I'm in the sun a lot detecting, I'm getting a noticeable white band around my arm where the strap holds my detector, which I'm not crazy about. Does someone make, say, a mesh strap that's partially see-through - or maybe two strips that wouldn't cover so much skin? I don't want to look like a zebra on my right arm again this summer.

Just my opinion, you should be wearing something to protect yourself from the sun. Like a long sleeve shirt with high 50+ UPF.
