✅ SOLVED Metal button with letter B, Old English style

Any button experts who can help me? I found this in a button stash that I bought at an estate sale. The letter makes me think of the Boston Red Sox, but of course I'm biased being a Sawwwx fan.

Still, if I had any reasonable thought that it was an old Sox button, I could send the photos to management to ask, I suppose.

I appreciate any help. It measures 7/8".

A career uniform button my guess. I search the Waterbury site because they bought out the designs from other companies. The closest I could find: 15194 - Waterbury Button

8043 - Waterbury Button

B - Waterbury Button

No 4 Style 4 - Waterbury Button

2 piece buttons were made with every letter of the alphabet. But its possible that this particular letter was a company logo but I am unable to find a match.
