Metal detecting in Arizona

I'm planning a trip to Yuma Arizona in February. What are the rules in the State of Arizona? what areas can I hunt in?

There are no "rules" per se, but there is different areas you must stay out of. "State Trust" land is off limits, as well as mineral claims (gold, silver). Do some homework before you go, and look up old stage coach stops and routes, saloons and fairgrounds. - Good Luck!
