Here in Michigan,there is a page at Michigan State government,that has a whole list of parks that are all 100% open to detecting,those that are only partly open to detecting,and those completely closed to detecting......I made the mistake of detecting at Burt Lake State Park in michigan a few years ago,which is closed to detecting,(I didn't have the paper with me stating it was closed to detecting),and almost got arrested for my faux-pas.....NOW,I carry them lists in my truck and update them every few years,got to do it again;before Spring..........check your state Gv't website;might be there..............
