Metal lower leg above coil????

Does a metal leg above the coil effect the electronics of the machine??

I have a vaquero, with a metal lower leg and was wondering about interferance does any one have a answer to this?

HI, Basically, a properly designed machine is adjusted to neutralize this effect at the factory. If your machine came with a plastic rod, do not substitute a metal one, except in an emergency if you do not have manual balancing.
