🏆 Honorable Mentions:

Detector(s) used
XP Deus II v0.6 with 11" Coil
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
We are now focused at one end of the biggest grid we have ever done. The Fan's Site end wasn't producing enough & time is against us.
It was payback time after our last good hunt, no silvers & our first time for ages without a Scrappy.
However, after 5 hours hunting we still did ok:

French Jetton
Pewter Whilst
Broken Georgian Cannon
Spec Buckle
Small Medieval Buckle
Barrel shaped Medieval Leather Mount
Broken up eagle (probably late 18th C clock mount) No body or head yet
Lead Pot Mend with Finger/thumb Print - A least Medieval, might be Roman (no way of telling without a pot shard present)
Top half of a Roman Nail Cleaner
3 Iron Age (Celtic) Fibula - not bad for 1 day & shows we still have a chance

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

you must have a ball every time you hunt

Three iron age fibula sounds really like a chance.
How the hell did you get a fingerprint into lead? Ouch.....
It's all in the timing....

So, this is a thumbprint that’s at least 572 years old? That’s insane.

Great hunt btw and how in the world you can ID all of your finds is mind boggling.

Thank you, again, for the lesson.

You mean about 1800 years old.

I study a lot of books in my personal library & internet research.
