I saw one fall the other night, but from here in Portland looking SSE....I think it fell near Reno, NV

My brother in New Mexico says he goes out looking for them all the time. There is a lack of much metal trash in the deserts where he look and you just have to be able to dig for them. He says they are worth thousands of $$$. I know he likes to use a DFX, but he said he was looking into buying a Infinium LS or Surf Pro PI because of the deeper depth.

Some people found one in a dry wash near where I live in southern colorado. It was about the size of a soft ball and turned out to be a very rare variety. They are out there. There is a place in Arizona where a large meteorite exploded over the ground and there are many fragments scattered over a large area. Seems that people who go there have pretty good luck. Good luck in your search. That would really be something to find one.
