Results of 2-3 hours last week. Its been a while since I've seen so much action. Not sure what to do with the coins since they are "dirty" and nobody wants to accept them. 2-3 small silver rings and a 9 K band as well. Made for an exciting few hours.

sweet deal, hit those spots after the tourists buy the silver rings from the sidewalk and beach vendors. be careful down south of the border.

Put your coins in a glass, add some salt and vinegar shake well, and go spend them. That should clean them enough to spend. Great hunt.

Wow that was a nice hunt. That's what I love south of the border, there isn't much competition while hunting.

Cleaning the coins might help. I know how picky they are, they won't accept a dirty coin, but will accept a coin that is almost completely worn down or paper money that so delicate that it could rip into pieces just blowing on it. I know one just has to accept it that way.

Great finds!!!! You can also build your own electrolysis tank. Easy to do and not expensive. Then you can clean or preserve most anything you want to as long as it fits in the tank.
