Great video and congrats on the gold ring. Was your camera mounted on your chest?

Nice video, thanks...congrats on the gold band...I know you tried a couple of different detectors, are you sticking with the AT pro?

nice finds,Hows that scoop I built for you working, I think its about two years old now?

nice video. good job on the rings. nice scenery in your videos also!

The beaches I hit further north (palm beach county) are much more rough this time of year. I like how calm that area you hunted was, that's perfect, could stay out there all day!

Holy crap is it really Howie the maker of the famous Howie Scoop? Merry Christmas buddy your scoop has been very good to me

It is rough here to. Just keep an eye on the surfing reports or the wind and weather forecasts. I got lucky on that day off from work with zero wind, low tide, and sunny.

congrats, ron, lovely video. I'm staying in miami for a few days, i hope to be seeing ya...Larry

I was wondering if your using the stock headphones that came with the ATX Pro and is that a magnet in the bottom of your scoop? Also have you used the ATX Pro further North like in the Treasurecoast area? If so how does it handle the mineral content along the Treasurecoast? I get a lot of chatter on my ATX Pro.

Thanks Larry I will give you a call. Morning low tides and the wind is down too.

Slider66 I use the Blue water proof headphones and yes that is a magnet. I haven't hunted up along the Treasure coast but my AT Pro works great on the South Florida beaches. I have heard all of the problems at other salt water areas and I even had a problem on the west side of Puerto Rico on Rincon beach (it went nuts) but on North east beaches it was fine.

Anyway my normal setup is always the same Pro Zero mode then I do a manual ground balance in the water that's ends up being about 12 or 13 then I drop it down one notch and that's about it. But keep in mind take off the coil cover (sand and air get's in and will cause noise) plus I use divers grease on all the O rings and make sure the fittings are tight. Let me know if this helps or not and thanks for watching my videos.
