Michigan Insurance Token

I found this token close to my home, also found a 1913 Wheatie.
There has not been a house there in over 50 years that I know of.

It is Dollar round coin copper and the inscription is as follows:

Insurance companies were fond of giving pocket pieces, watch fobs, key tags, etc. to customers. The companies used them rather like the paper business card of today, hoping to get return business from the person carrying the item, or new business if it was showed to somebody else.
