Hello everyone! I just wanted to share some of my finds from my last couple of hunts… Some of them came from an old farmhouse, some of them came from some wooded areas around old properties. The Civil War button I found at the bottom of a pile of dirt that was scraped off of a small area of a construction site. The Indians cleaned up nice. The highlights are in 1885 silver Canadian fish scale, an Italian telephone token, batting cage token, a clad dime shot through very accurately, looks like with a 22., a cool old printing plate, two nice decorative horse bridal rosettes and some other doodads. Fun stuff, thanks for looking and HH, Griff.

Very nice!
Congrats.

The fishscale must have been a great surprise.

Great job on preserving the Indian heads.

Lots of goodies .

Fantastic finds- Congrats! Those Indians are incredible- your soil was very kind to them and your cleaning method is great.

Excellent variety of finds and some stunning detail on those IHCs...

Your Italian telephone token is called a gettone. Gettone means "token" in Italian. I went to school in Italy and used a few of those. Gary

Congrats on the outstanding finds !

Great digs Griff!!
Love the unique printing plate and other relics!
Indians are in great shape. Is the last 3 pics of the 1881 the same coin? Great job cleaning them.
Congrats on the Silvers too - especially that fishscale!!

Great finds, Congrats!

A couple of those IH's are stunning but I think my favorite would have to be the fish scale! Very nice!

Congrats on the Silvers too - especially that fishscale!!
Thanks man! Yeah the last three pics are the same coin... first one right out of the hole, second one after a little water, and third after a good cleaning.

Awesome finds, I especially like that 1890 Indian, it cleaned up vary nicely.

Very cool! Took me a minute to figure out what the heck that thing was. I’ve seen other telephone tokens with the grooves before, but the coffee cups was throwing me off lol. Must be made with zinc like our clad pennies, corroded badly.

Nice digs J you’ve been busy! Love the IH’s nice shape thanks to kind Mi. soil. Cool relics also, I like that plate too. I dont recall ever seeing a phone token though. Here’s to a soft December and the rest of winter for that matter! :icon_thumleft:
