Michigan Veterans Ass'n Freemont Mich
I found this Michigan Veterans Ass’n Medal yesterday at a old Homestead site that I have hunted many times over the years. This Homestead Site was reforested by the C.C.C workers in the Great Depression. This site is heavily trashed and has never given up a Coin. Pocket Watch and Clock parts are every where, my guess would be that this person made a living repairing watches. I have hit this site with every Metal Detector that I have owned and still No Coins.
I can not find any info on the Medal other then what it says on it.
Michigan Veterans Ass’n, Fremont, Sept 12-17 1904.
It was made by Schwaab S. & S. Co. Milwaukee Wis.
I have found a Bank Medal for new Customers, Tokens and dog tags all dating back to the same time frame.
I have hunted this site with a Whites Spectrum XLT, A Sovereign XS-2 Pro and a Explorer XS, No Coins.
