It's only a '63 Rosie, but I'll take it. This is the 150th silver dime that I have dug since I began detecting. Found it in a parkway in a small town I visited this morning. Also found a '47 S Wheat, Bicentennial Quarter, Elongated penny from the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and 15 clad coins. Not bad for 2 1/2 hours. Hope your all beating the heat !

Very nice! How do you keep track of your finds? I list mine in an Excel spreadsheet. I'm nearly at silver coin 200. Probably about 150 silver dimes myself lol.

I keep track the old fashioned way, I just put them in a 2x2 cardboard holder and mark them, then put them into a plastic page that holds 20 coins, then into the binder. Each denomination has it's own binder. Every now and then, after a hunt I will count whatever type of coin I have found like the silver dime today. I counted 149 silver dimes in the book, and obviously knew that I had just found 150. It doesn't always work out like that ! For example, right now, I have no idea how many silver Quarters I have found, but I do know that I have found 28 Half Dollars, and 3 Morgans. Those are a little easier to remember, because I don't find as many. Next time I find a silver Quarter, I'll probably do a count in my book just to see where I stand. I like to mark the "milestone" coins on the holder when I find them.

FAN DIME TASTIC! I have more than that but not by a whole bunch. I'd have to check on silver halves and we are at the same count on morgan dollars.

Grats and may you find the next 150 in half the hunting time. (and a 16d as well as a 95o in the mix!)

I do the same and have 4 binders of USA coins and 2 binders of out of country coins. One of my nephews decided he wanted one of my binders and took it. Now I have to refurbish it. Nice collection!
