Looks to be WWI, but I'm not expert

We need more pictures up close as well as measurements, especially the bore size.

My father came across this military sword and scabbard and wanted to know some info about it. If anyone knows I'd greatly appreciate it.
Howdy! That is not technically a sword, but rather a bayonet. These attach to the small end of a rifle. Other than American made and fairly old, I can't help much. Pretty neat!

Yeah I meant to say bayonet doing this at work when I'm not supposed to be lol

It appears to be a U.S. Model 1905 bayonet which went on the famous '03 Springfield rifle.

Sheath for a M1892 Krag looks right , as does method of hanging it.
