Dug this unusual badge. Size wise it's between a quarter and half dollar. On the bottom it says We are with you. In the middle it has a soldier with a rifle on his shoulder. On top next to the shield is an A and an L.
Looks to be WWI period? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1484764976.482981.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1484765002.716011.jpg

Found in the US?

Is that A L next to the shield?

Are there any visible signs or marks on the reverse?
I found a similar medallion this spring. I'll post later when I get home.

Looking closer I believe maybe it says A 1 rather than A L. Anyone else see it that way?

I think it's an 'L'.

The soldier on the token just doesn't look American to me. Certainly not WWI US.

I'm wondering if this is a support token for a foreign war - like the Spanish civil war. Possibly from the Communist movement in the US in the 1920's? Or related to the labor movement from about the same era? I'm just guessing...

Can we know in what state this was found?

Frankly, I didn't think this one would be this difficult.

Having a plain back makes me think it may have been part of a larger piece. But what is beyond me.

Ok from what I'm gathering it is most likely a WWI patriotic pin from the American Legion

Not WWI. The American Legion didn't exist until after WWI. In fact, it was a result of WWI. Maybe for troops in China? The US military was active in China in the 20's & early 30's. But the helmet on the soldier is NOT a US military helmet from that era.

I suppose 1920's - 30's American Legion stick pin is as good a guess as any until somebody finds more information.
