Military Button Questions

Can anyone help me identify this? I'm assuming it's some sort of military button. I don't see any markings on the back side. Any information about this item is appreciated.

I'm by no means a button expert but I have a feeling it is not a military button. Some of the scenes depicted just don't seem military specific. I do see a couple letters at the six o'clock position on the front side. Your photo is nice and clear but I still cannot make out what letters they are. Perhaps you can take a loop and see what they may be. That could give you a good starting point.

This looks like a button from jeans or a denim jacket to me.
