Military Patch

Hi everyone been forever since I was last on. A friend from Guatemala found this red beret with a unique looking patch on it. We aren't sure if it is real or just decoration, but I figured it was worth looking into and that someone here might be able to help. Thanks.

You might look into the Kaibiles, or special forces of the Guatemalan Military. They wear maroon berets and this may be an unofficial unit logo. They helmet on the skull does look more like a construction hard hat to me though...happy hunting, Sub
