Military surplus stores

Am new to this hobby and was toting around my tools in a shoulder bag. I found that the on and off every time I wanted to dig was a distraction and trying to dig while the bag was on was also a distraction.
Today I stopped into a local military surplus store and picked up a belt, 2 slide on pouches and a sheath that would hold my pointer perfectly and all for about 40.00! So much cool stuff in that place!



Tried this out today and it was awesome! Not to mention it will last for a very long time!

Where do you put your trash? That seems kinda pricey when you can sometimes get free pouches from the detector companies with just about any purchase.
