militia button?

[creade]

I found this while detecting in NH. A few historians think it might be militia since John Stark was in this area. Any ideas?

I think that is a very nice civilian picture button This is from "The Complete Button Book" (Albert /Kent) under Buildings, Scenes & Landscapes / Metal:

2. Stamped brass, two piece. Design in relief. Same design found in one piece and in lustered glass. Actual size.
