mind wants to but..

Well the mind wants to go out hunting but the body just is not cooperating here lately! When I do go out I just can't hunt for very long so my finds have been really small. Got out this morning for about 40 minutes and came home with 2 metal buttons, a clasp and 19 cents. WOW!

I went out on the 23rd and didn't find much more but I did find a HUGE nut, a metal rod and another metal button plus 69 cents! Whoopee!

I did get contacted by another hunter that lives in my town but he never got back with me after I answered him. Bummer. It would have been nice to know someone else that hunts here. If you are still out there......

Hey Mummszie, at least you got out. I have so much moss growing under my butt
right now I don't know if it will ever wear off. haha Mama want's me to give up MDing altogether and its you guys here on Tnet that keep me going. Any find is a GREAT find to me. HH and keep the spirt!

She also wouldn't want you to give up if she understood that it really isn't what you find so much as the just getting out there and looking that does you some good. My husband is NOT into MDing at all. He thinks it is stupid but he encourages me to go out if for no other reason but to get the exercise it gives me. So you just hang in there and hunt when you can and I hope you find that one really special thing such as a ring that will get her heart beating a little faster. Hand in there!

yah the heats been bad lately ---kept me in a good bit myself --- did find some nice early 1800's era pottery shards and early 1700's era bottle necks plus a bit of ship wreckage bits not long ago --nothing of "big money" wise value (GOLD !!! ---SILVER!!!) but interesting to me none the less --- guess what --I've offically been given the title of club "historian" (research guru) ---I'll be heading up the metal club meeting (shelly and the other officers will be gone on a hunt up north) on sept 11,2007 at the piccadilly's near the mall in jacksonville the meeting "offically" starts at 7 pm -- Ivan
