I need a new arm cuff for my XS. Should I order it from minelab or use a dealer?

I believe you will need to buy from a dealer.

As far as I Know Minelab dosn't sell anything direct,
unless under warranty,
in order to support their dealers.

Theres a guy on here that makes metal cuffs that are far superior to the factory cuff.....forgot his name...maybe someone else will chime in or you can do a search online....I went trough two factory cuffs before I learned my lesson.

The metal arm cuffs are the way to go, no question about it. I got mine from Jeff Hurke. I think that's spelled right? You can find them on ebay and in the forsale section on this site.

Thanks for the info - am in contact with Jeff about the metal cuff. This is the 3rd cuff in 10 years - not to bad i guess

I recieved my new metal cuff w/ stand and 1/4 inch jack yeterday 1/19/12. Looks great and probably will outlast the detctor. Thanks for the tip and thanks jeff for a great product.
