What is the best coil for relic hunting, break it down for me cause I'm new to this. The deepest, one that will find the most, so on and so forth. I own a minelab x-terra 505.

In ground that is less trashy i would go with a 10.5 dd at 18khz for bullets and regular 10.5 dd for relics . I have heard that the 9 inch 3khz like old silver and copper though. I am getting ready to order a 3khz coil. I have found some good relics with the stock coil. With my 70 running two tones and digging every high tone. My ground usually balances in the 50's that has alot to do with coil choice also. DD coils do better in high mineralized grounds high being low ground balance numbers . Low numbers are higher mineralized. Hope this helps.
