MINI credit union score

swung by one of my local credit unions on the way home, with just a few bucks in the wallet...
I ask the drive thru teller if she had halves, answer, yes how much do you want?
I said that I would take them all ans she said, $48, I said ok, and then had to tear my wallet
Apart to find enough money...she hands me $48.50, to be exact, all loose, in a plastic bank bag.
as I am grabbing I see the glint of a 64....and a couple of ladies...
All said and done, Ben, 2 ladies, one 64, and 67,68.........
Gotta love those plastic bags........

4x10=40 and 2x4=8

40+8= $48 in melt value

I was thinking he way more than doubled it. He is only gonna keep the 3.00 face and dump the rest. I was just looking at it in a different way. Either way, it's an awesome find. HH all

The "doubled your money" comment is correct to me. As I see it you gave the teller $48 and the teller gave you back $45 plus $48 in silver.
