I have collected small stuff now for a long time. I say half of these came out of the railroad dump. Most I dug, some I bought or traded.
Interesting titles: Van Wert's Golden Balm, Watertown, NY, Otto's Cure for the Throat & Lungs, Dr. E. F. Wing's Corn Remedy, Dr. King's New Life Pills, Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry. Also a nice mini Florida Water, but sick.

Stunning collection. Have you ever considered selling the collection?

I have entertained the thought, but I'll keep 'em for a bit. I do not insist on perfection, many of these are sick or chipped or cracked. Some are pristine. I was going to make a wall hanging light box for these and add a dab of silicone to anchor them, for a nice display, but I cant find the time or energy. Thanks, gleaner1

PS no pontiled goods shown.

Very interesting collection! 'Road Dog' with his cookie jars and I with my demijohns are envious!

You don't need to use silicone caulk to anchor these little bottles. A little dab of rubber cement is much more useful. It is easily removable, it is re-usable when you take the bottle down for a moment, and it grips very well. I use it occasionally if a bottle seems a little unsteady or shows a tendency to migrate on my glass shelves. And, it's inexpensive.

Harry, good advice as always. Road Dog, I want any mini's ya got.

Got these? The shorter one is 1 3/4" tall. Has a Anchor embossed on it. The other is a Sozodont for the teeth and breath.

Road Dog, nice ones. I have the exact Sozodont, but 5". I do have a really mini one, 2" tall, I was going to show it next to a penny, got distracted.

It's interesting to see how digital photo's can be so misleading. For example, on my original post, the little Sozadont is shown far right, pic 7, looks bright, a bit of stain. The last post was bright sun, macro...ugly. In real life, the bottle looks pretty good. If you zoom in max on all these pics, you will be mesmerized.

PS. Also, note the Knapp's, pic 11, fifth from left, this is a little root beer extract, found in the dump with cork and contents. Very fancy, never saw another one. When cleaning, pushed cork in, exploding bottle. Deep dispair. Super glued back together. Can you tell? The whole kitchen smelled like root beer, believe it or not!

Road Dog, I would not hesitate to offer you 20 beans for the lot. I have come across similar pieces for a buck or two at garage sales. Currently I'm working on obtaining a 2" mini cobalt perfume, a friend has it, I offered 20 skins. Will post pic if I can ever get my hands on it.

Here is a miniature I found a while back. I asume it was a perfume bottle. It is a little over 1 3/4 inch tall, 1 inch wide and 3/8inch thick. It says Complimentary on the front. It's the smallest bottle I have found. Does anyone have any smaller?

Pretty small. The one I posted just prior is only 1 3/4". I've seen smaller than that even. Don't think I have any though. Here is a Mini Fruit Jar.

Itownguy, that's the same mini my friend has, but yours is embossed. They get smaller.
Road Dog, I have never seen or heard of your mini fruit jar.
