I saw this watch a lot for $27 on EBay and was intrigued by the light blue dialed watch. I figured most of the other quartz watches I could probably get $30-$40 for an eBay so I bought the lot. I was thrilled to get this awesome Elgin with Carolina blue dial accents. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1566921040.676574.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1566920836.685592.jpg
It wasn’t running but I serviced it last night and polished the case and Crystal. It’s running great now and looking good. I just ordered a really cool NATO strap with accent color the same as the dial. It’s going to be one cool looking watch. I just wish the second hand was orange. I take it you like those late 60s early 70s space age watches. I've got a couple and your post had me take a look at what I've got. I pulled this one out last night, as i don't think I've ever had a closer look at it before. It was sold through Helzberg and has a Swiss movement by Winton. It's running good this morning and moved to the correct date and day. I might just list it for sale. Not sure I'll get much out if it, but it was a 5 or 6 dollar TS find I believe.

Yes I like space-age watches but also 1940s and 1930s and 1920s and 1970s. Lol! That is a good looking watch. I would think you would get at least $50 for it. I am outside reconsidering the strap choice. I think I’m just going to go with black leather.

Nice, you went with the Le Mans Gulf GT40 team colors strap. I have the same strap on one of my watches. Its quite the attention grabber!

Great looking watch. I have the same band but it’s black and orange

Oops, forgot the picture.

It looks great but I don’t think it’s gonna work on my watch. The blue on the Elgin is more of a teal. I have a black on black Vulcain chronograph that I might put it on instead. I think it will work better on that watch.

NATO straps .com or clockwork synergy have decent selections. Just follow the measurement guide and order what fits. They are usually less than 15.00 shipped.

Nice clean and polish job on that watch.Yeah that strap doesn't do it justice the black strap will probably showcase the watch better.
